The commemoration of 9/11 at WTC Rennes Bretagne

RENNES, FRANCE - On September 12, 2011, WTC Rennes Bretagne organized a meeting to commemorate 9/11.

In the presence of the media and the American consul for Western France, this gathering was hosted in order to remember the tragic day and to show support for the victims of the attacks. It was also an opportunity to present pictures of the future WTC New York, currently under construction, and to promote the WTCA network.
The evening started with Joël-Yves Gautier, honorary member of the House of Architecture in Rennes, who presented the new site of WTC New York, emphasizing its scope and attractiveness. Following the presentation, Robert Frueh, Executive Vice President at WTCA, participated by video in order to share his sentiments. Frederic Martin, president of WTC Rennes and chairman of the MX Company, which specializes in agricultural equipment, promoted WTC Rennes Bretagne and the WTCA network.

At the end of the meeting, WTC Rennes Bretagne took part in a videoconference with two other WTCs in France, WTC Grenoble and WTC Poitiers. The purpose of this connection was to demonstrate the concrete reality of the network of WTCs, and to emphasize the importance of working together.
